The 2025 NBA playoffs weren't the best for Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green. In his first postseason appearance, Green struggled to be effective for the Rockets. In seven games, the athletic guard averaged 13.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists on 37.2% shooting.
Green, however, had one playoff game where he scored at least 20 points. In Game 2 against the Golden State Warriors, the shooting guard had 38 points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals. Other than that, the four-season veteran didn't even reach 15 points throughout the series.
It was an underwhelming performance from the Rockets' leading scorer. During the regular season, Houston's star player averaged 21 points on 42.3 percent shooting.

With an early playoff exit, Green has enough time away from basketball. On Friday, he showed off that he had added another tattoo to his body. Interestingly, it was a tattoo of NBA legend and five-time champion, Dennis Rodman.

The new design was added to his right leg. Green showed off his new ink on Instagram.
While the Rockets guard was showing it off, fans reacted wildly to his social media update. Here are some of their comments.
"Painting your nails, and got a fruity man tatted on you," a fan commented.

Other fans encouraged Jalen Green to work on his game.
"Stop getting tats and hit the gym lil bro, we ain't forget," another fan suggested.

A Western Conference scout thinks Jalen Green could flourish as a second option
With the emergence of Alperen Sengun as a first-time All-Star last season, it's clear that he's the No. 1 option for the Rockets. That would make Jalen Green the second option, despite being the leading scorer of the team.
After his abysmal playoff debut, however, there were questions about his future role with the Houston team. An unnamed Western Conference scout had an honest take on Green's potential with the Rockets.
“He can’t guard like Oklahoma City Thunder forward, Jalen Williams, but they’re not that different as shooters and slashers. They can play a similar role,” a Western Conference scout said. “With Green, he can’t disappear like he did in so many playoff games. It’s not really a skills thing.”
While he's shown that he can be a top performer for a playoff team, Jalen Green still needs to be consistent with his production.
