Paul George recently praised LeBron James for his longevity in the NBA on his newly launched podcast, 'Podcast P with Paul George'. The LA Clippers star pointed out how amazing it was to witness James dethroning Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the scoring record last month. PG also discussed LBJ's superhuman durability to continue to play at a high level despite his age.

George then went on to compare Luka Doncic to LeBron James. PG mentioned that Doncic is the only player he can think of who's on the right track to mimicking James' stats. Luka is an all-around player like LeBron and is playing at such a high level at such a young age. The only thing that could most likely get in the way is if the Dallas Mavericks star can play as long as LBJ does.

"What he's doing is unbelievable with those stats," George said. "You look at what Luka [Dončić] is doing being the young version of LeBron in terms of passing, scoring and rebounding. From a numbers standpoint, Luka could probably catch Bron, but the longevity is what I don't think people will get to."

PG continued:

"Twenty years of being dominant … I don't think nobody will be cut that way to take care of your body, to be that on-point in the media, to be that on-point on the court. He's a superhuman!"

Paul George recently released the first episode of his brand-new podcast. The LA Clippers star aims to talk about the NBA, basketball in general, pop culture, and his personal life.

In his first episode, George discussed several topics, including how he recruited Russell Westbrook to play for the Clippers, the never-ending GOAT debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan, and so many more. One of the more notable topics on his podcast was when PG revealed that his MVP this season is Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum.

"What Tatum is doing is impressive," George said. "Went to the Finals last year. He could have very well been satisfied with that. He's gotten better, and his game has gotten better and he's confident with who he is as a player in this league now, and it's showing. … he's going crazy!"

George believes that Tatum has been nothing short of impressive this year and deserves all the recognition by the end of the season. The Celtics star has proven to everyone that he stands out amongst all the other players in the league this year. On top of that, he also won the 2023 All-Star Game MVP. That award alone should strengthen his case for becoming the 2023 NBA MVP.
