Bryce James, son of LA Lakers star LeBron James, is in the midst of his sophomore season at Sierra Canyon High School. Despite just entering the ranks, he has already earned himself an eye-pooping deal.

Earlier today, Klutch Sports announced that they have signed Bryce James to a NIL contract. With this, he now has the opportunity to make money off of his name, likeness, and image. It is worth noting that LeBron is also represented by Klutch, and the agency is run by his close friend Rich Paul.

Most eyes are on Bronny James as he gets ready to wrap up his senior season, but Bryce James is starting to get attention as well. After a recent growth spurt, he now stands at 6foot-6. On top of that, Bryce's athleticism and feel for the game are starting to resemble that of his father's.

Some might feel a deal of this sort is a bit premature, but it's a smart move by the James family. Sierra Canyon is a highly-touted program, and Bryce James comes from a well-known family. The opportunity to make money from endorsement deals is right around the corner for the youngest son of the future NBA Hall of Famer.

Is Bryce James more fit for the NBA than Bronny James?

One of the key factors that has cemented LeBron James as one of the best ever is his longevity. The LA Lakers star is in the midst of his 20th NBA season. LeBron has made it clear that he wants to play at the highest level with both of his sons before retiring.

While Bronny James is on the cusp of being eligible to join the NBA ranks, Bryce still has some time to wait. However, he might be a better fit for the league than his older brother.

Bronny is an explosive guard with a smooth outside shot, but has one glaring weakness. That being that he is only 6-2. Small guards have seen success in the NBA, but they have a tiny margin for error.

Looking at Bryce James, he is slowly becoming the prototype player NBA teams want now. For starters, he is already 6-6. Given how young he is, it's fair to assume he'll grow even more before it's time to enter the draft. Bryce is also starting to show great flashes in his first year playing varsity high school basketball.

As he continues to mature in the coming years, Bryce has the potential to be a highly sought-out prospect when it comes time to put his name in the NBA Draft.
