There have already been a number of trades made in this year's offseason and Lakers fans continue to scout for a potential one that can put them over the top. Aside from drafting Bronny James and extending LeBron James' contract, the purple and gold franchise has not made any league-altering move. That is until the fanbase started considering a reunion with Jordan Clarkson.According to The Salt Lake Tribune's Andy Larsen, there is little to no interest in 2021 Sixth Man of the Year in the trade market. He is regarded as one of the most reliable scorers coming off the bench but ran into a down year with his production on the court. Last season, he put up 17.1 points on 41.3% shooting, including 29.4% from beyond the arc.Clarkson was originally drafted by the Washington Wizards in 2014 as the 46th pick. He was eventually traded to LA in exchange for cash considerations, where he went on to play four seasons. In response to the report, several fans showed their support for a possible reunion between the Lakers and Jordan Clarkson."Lakers could use him again. Rob better make the trade while he's still cheap."X user Boothe Bets (@BootheBets) advised the purple and gold franchise to be on alert for this report."Lakers need to wake up," the fan posted.X user Almighty: Shiloh (@lohxloh) pointed out an acquisition that would involve cash considerations."@Lakers cash considerations," the fan posted.X user Teflon Don (@NoCallerID24) advised LA to form a trade package to bring back the franchise's former guard."Man bring him back to the Lakers," the fan posted.X user jono.btc (@JonoNogs) argued that D'Angelo Russell has the same trade market value as Jordan Clarkson."D'Angelo Russell is the next Jordan Clarkson," the fan posted. With the amount of guards in the Lakers' rotation entering next season, it remains uncertain if Clarkson would be an ideal fit.Jordan Clarkson looked back on his time with the Lakers During an interview with Complex Sports' Mike DeStefano, Jordan Clarkson talked about his time playing in LA and highlighted the challenging nature of making all the pieces work."I don't think it was ever going to work with us being there," Clarkson said. "I think we all were stars in our own right. Us separating and going into our home lanes was a good change of scenery for everybody. ... We probably wouldn't have brought a championship back to them or none of that, you know what I mean? They got LeBron for us, whatever it is. ..."Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (Imagn)Before LA landed LeBron James on July 1, 2018, they were still maneuvering the rebuilding stage of their franchise. They had several promising players on the roster such as Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and even Jordan Clarkson. The youthfulness and the camaraderie were there but Clarkson pointed out that finding the proper balance between all their roles would have always been challenging to pull off.In his last season with the purple and gold franchise, he put up 14.5 points (44.8% shooting, including 32.4% from 3-point range) and 3.3 assists per game.
