Shannon Sharpe on LeBron James shooting 22.6% from beyond the arc: "Quit shooting bad threes"

LeBron James is shooting just 22.6% from beyond the arc this season. NFL legend and current Fox Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe wants James to stop taking bad shots from 3-point range. "The King" went 0-7 in the LA Lakers' overtime win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.

On the latest episode of "Skip and Shannon: Undisputed," Sharpe and Skip Bayless discussed James' struggles from beyond the arc. Sharpe thinks that the Lakers superstar needs to improve his shot selection. He also wants James to cut down on his 3-point attempts.

"Not quit shooting threes, but quit shooting bad threes," Sharpe said. "He's just coming down early in the shot clock pulling up from 30 feet like it's nothing. It's really hurting them. Maybe cut down from shooting so many and those bad threes. If you could cut that down from eight, nine a game to four, I'm cool with that."

Shannon Sharpe offered a possible explanation as to why LeBron James is struggling with his shot. Sharpe thinks that James doesn't have his legs yet after a long offseason. He pointed out "The King" was missing a lot of open jump shots and easy layups.

"Right now, he's not LeBron," Sharpe said. "I don't think he has his legs under him yet. I still see him missing bunny layups that he normally finishes with relative ease. I understand that he's in Year 20, but I think he still needs another two or three weeks to get his legs up on him."
"These threes last night were not close to going in. I could see if they're rimming out, but they weren't close."
