The Golden State Warriors have a dynasty primarily because of Steph Curry. Warriors GM Bob Myers acknowledged how great Curry is and stated that his job, among other things, is not to screw up Curry's career.
Although Curry has not entered the greatest of all-time debates, he is undoubtedly the greatest player in Warriors' history. He has also revolutionized the game with his 3-point shooting.
On "All The Smoke," Myers talked about how the Warriors transformed over the years with Steph Curry as the catalyst. He said:

"Curry is different. He makes my job so easy because just who the guy is. And I don't know if you guys played with guys that when your dad played in the NBA, you just look at it a little differently. ... You look at it because you did it.
"If your kids did it, they're gonna look at it differently than you did. It doesn't mean they don't want it or need it, but they're gonna have a different kind of balance.
"Curry was growing up, he was meeting Vince, he's meeting all these people, Michael Jordan. So when he got here, he was like, this is my job, I got my life. But a lot of players that show up, they don't have that. So they lose their mind, which I understand. Who's to blame a 22-year-old who gets everything and then doesn't make it?
"Curry stability has been the main reason," he continued. "If you were the GM and you had him, it's almost like a cheat code and your responsibility is to not screw it up. Do not screw his career up. Now you could say that's easy. It's not easy. Nothing's easy. But the best thing I feel is like to watch him succeed.
"This last year was the best of it. It answered all the questions that people were putting on this guy and that's why I think you saw him feel the way he felt. Cause he was kind of like, can you leave me alone, right? Is this enough? Have I done enough?"
There have been several debates surrounding Curry's place in the all-time rankings. While many believe he is an all-time top-ten player, others think he has not done enough to break into that company just yet.

Steph Curry has been exceptional despite the Warriors' slow start
The Warriors have struggled since the start of the season. Although they were one of the favorites to win the 2023 title, they have not played like contenders so far.
Their poor start was defined by their inability to win a road game. Although they ended their eight-game road losing streak with a win over the Houston Rockets, they lost the following day in New Orleans.
Amidst all the road losses, Steph Curry has been outstanding. The all-time 3-point leading scorer has put on a clinic from deep, converting 44.5% of his 3-point attempts and averaging 31.7 points.
However, the Warriors are starting to find their form. Head coach Steve Kerr believes their win against the Utah Jazz is going to be a big boost for the team.
After 20 games, the Warriors sit 20th in the Western Conference standings. Their next game is against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, and they will be looking to win three consecutive games for the first time this season.
