The Golden State Warriors have a 14-12 record this season when Steph Curry is unavailable to play. Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Jordan Poole have stepped up in his absence as they try to maneuver their team in the right direction in what has been a tough regular season in the competitive Western Conference.

Steph Curry's return to action

Steph Curry injured his left knee with 2:01 minutes left in the third quarter after going into a collision with McKinley Wright IV's knee on Feb. 4 against the Dallas Mavericks. He missed the next 11 games.

Curry is averaging 29.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game, while shooting 49.7%, including 43.6% from 3-point range. Since his return on March 6 against the LA Lakers, when he dropped 27 points, Curry is averaging 31.0 ppg, 5.6 rpg and 5.2 apg.

His standout performance in the team's recent stretch of games was against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. It was an important game for the Golden State Warriors (36-33) as they needed to pile up as they try to solidify a playoff spot and as much home-court advantage as possible.

The game looked like a loss to Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors after Jrue Holiday hit a clutch 3-pointer in the fourth and a block shot by Brook Lopez on Jordan Poole's lay-up off a backdoor cut.

But after Jrue Holiday's turnover, Steph Curry had the ball in his hands with only 24.9 seconds remaining. He stepped back over Jevon Carter, got the separation and space he needed and knocked down a clutch 3-point basket to tie the game.

On the next possession, Curry blocked Holiday's lay-up attempt to send the game into overtime. Curry had 36 points and six rebounds, while shooting 48.1%, including 40.0% from 3-point range. He poured nine of his 36 points during overtime as he made one clutch basket after another with the Milwaukee Bucks having no answer for him in the 125-116 win.

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors' final stretch of games

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors (36-33) have only 13 games remaining in the regular season. They are fifth in the Western Conference and have won seven of their last 10 games, including two in a row.

They have been an elite team for the majority of the regular season when they play on their home court as they have a record of 29-7. However, they have struggled all season in finding any rhythm when they're away from home, going 7-26.

As the team looks to finish the regular season strong, it helps that Steph Curry is finally back in the starting lineup and looks as if he has not missed a step.
