This week, Steph Curry is in China as part of an international tour for the Curry brand. While things started off on a high note, they appear to have gone off the rails a bit.
Posts have surfaced on social media showing outraged fans complaining about Under Armour's handling of this tour. They've been accused of canceling events and sneaking Curry around instead of allowing fans to see the superstar guard.

As the international tour goes on, Chinese fans have left endless comments to Under Armour on social media to voice their outrage.

Some American NBA fans have also commented on how things have unfolded. They are shocked to see this from Steph Curry and Under Armour.

Curry launched this tour to try and build the brand's international fanbase, but it seems to be backfiring.
The Golden State Warriors star isn't there alone. Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox also made the trip to China. He signed with the brand back in 2023 and is getting ready for the release of his first signature shoe.

Along with going on an international tour for his brand, Steph Curry also commemorated the trip with his signature shoe. On Friday, a new colorway of his signature shoe hit the shelves.
The colorway is titled 'Curry Tour', and comes with four of his signature shoes. This edition of the Curry 12 is purple and pink on the outside but the insole is red with Curry's name written on it.

For those looking to purchase Steph Curry's latest sneakers, they are available on Under Armour's website. They come in at a retail price of $140.
Since signing with Under Armour back in 2013, Curry has become the face of their basketball division. At this stage of his career, he is still the biggest NBA star with the brand. Upon the signing of De'Aaron Fox, it's evident that the Curry brand is eager to further break into the basketball market.
Aside from his ventures in the sneaker world, Curry is getting ready for what will be his 16th year in the league. The 2025 campaign is going to be much different for him, as it'll be his first without Klay Thompson in over a decade.
Following a long run with the franchise, the sharpshooting guard opted to join the Dallas Mavericks in free agency.
The Warriors made a flurry of signings this offseason to try and keep the team competitive around Curry and Draymond Green. That said, their success will stem from the play of their top player. If Golden State wants any shot at staying relevant, Curry will have to continue being one of the NBA's top point guards.
