Orlando Magic center Bol Bol's dunk over the Detroit Pistons' Isaiah Stewart spurred comparisons to Michael Jordan's dunk in the classic 1996 basketball movie "Space Jam."

The poster jam by the son of former NBA player Manute Bol sparked the Magic to promote the dunk on Wednesday as "Space Jam Mode."

At 7-foot-2 and one of the league's tallest players, Bol Bol has a wingspan of 7-foot-5. His dunk on Stewart especially resembled Michael Jordan's dunk in "Space Jam" as Bol took off outside the paint and essentially flushed the ball into the basket.

The Magic (13-23), however, dropped the game 121-101.

Following the tussle between Orlando Magic forward Mo Wagner and Detroit Pistons guard Killian Hayes on Wednesday, the NBA handed out suspensions to 11 players.

"Detroit Pistons guard Killian Hayes has been suspended three games without pay, Orlando Magic center Moritz Wagner two games without pay and Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo one game without pay for their roles in an on-court altercation," the NBA said in a statement.
"In addition, eight other Magic players — guards Cole Anthony, R.J. Hampton, Gary Harris and Kevon Harris, forwards Admiral Schofield and Franz Wagner and centers Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter, Jr. — have each been suspended one game without pay for leaving the bench area during an on-court altercation." The Magic have tallied a 13-23 record with their top pick in the 2022 draft, Paolo Banchero, averaging 20.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.

Banchero has already posted several highlights this season. The most impressive of those came in a 126-123 overtime loss to the Sacramento Kings on Nov. 5, when he posted season highs with a 33-point, 16-rebound double-double.

In fact, in the 29 games Banchero has played, he has scored less than 15 points on just two occasions. Banchero has tallied six double-doubles and 20 games of 20-plus points.

The former Duke Blue Devil is the odds-on favorite to win the Rookie of the Year award, with -650 at the money line. The next favorite is Indiana's Benedict Mathurin, with +500 odds. Based on the latest rankings, Banchero has established firm grip on the No.1 spot on the Rookie of the Year ladder.
