Team Canada Men's Basketball 2024 Paris Olympics: Full roster and more

Team Canada’s recent track record suggests they will be a huge problem for all major contenders at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Led by Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, Dillon Brooks and RJ Barrett, Canada finished the 2023 FIBA World Cup with a historic bronze, their first medal in the tournament.

They have now announced their 16-man roster for the upcoming Olympics.

Oshae Brissett and Kyle Alexander released from Team Canada’s Paris Olympics roster

Oshae Brissett and Kyle Alexander were released from the Canadian camp. The former withdrew his name to focus on free agency after winning the NBA championship with the Celtics.

Alexander seems to have been deemed surplus to requirements, although these are not the only notable changes made to the roster in recent weeks.

Leonard Miller, who was initially added to the roster for experience rather than the competition itself, was released. Andrew Wiggins and Zach Edey have also withdrawn from the roster.
