NBA fans recount Dennis Rodman's prison stories after Jonathan Majors gets axed from '48 Hours In Vegas' movie.

Hollywood actor Jonathan Majors was dropped from the film "48 Hours In Vegas" about Dennis Rodman's trip to Las Vegas in the 1998 NBA Finals. Majors was a rising star when he got arrested for assault following a dispute with then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Now, fans are looking back at some wild Rodman prison stories on social media.

According to William Earl of Variety, Majors will no longer play Rodman in the Lord Miller-produced movie. It was one of several roles Hollywood has taken away from the 34-year-old actor after he was convicted of two misdemeanor counts of harassment and assault last month.

Disney axed Majors from his role as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He's also no longer in discussion to star in Amazon's "Da Understudy" linked to director and New York Knicks superfan Spike Lee.

Dennis Rodman is one of the most controversial players in NBA history. He has had a lot of issues on and off the court. He was a known party animal considering he spent 48 hours in Las Vegas with Carmen Elektra in the middle of the 1998 NBA Finals.

While he has never been incarcerated for a long time, Rodman has spent many nights in jail due to his actions off the court. "The Worm" told Sean Kim of the "Growth Minds" podcast in 2019 that he has been arrested about 60-70 times for partying.

"I think I have been famous then I have not been famous," Rodman said. "At my house in Newport beach, I think I went to jail 60-70 times. ...
"Because I always threw wild parties. I wasn't killing nobody, I wasn't hurting nobody, I was just going to jail because they wanted me to go to jail for three or four hours."

On Kevin Hart's "Cold as Ball" show on YouTube also in 2019, Rodman claimed that he has been arrested over 100 times in his lifetime.

"I'd say over 100," Rodman said. "I was having too many parties in my house and after seven days straight, it was seven days a week. Seven days a week, 24/7."
