Former teammates at Lakers, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Kyle Kuzma reconnected on Sunday on the Kyle Kuzma Family Foundation's first annual celebrity golf outing. Caldwell-Pope shared snaps of the event alongside her wife, who posted a playful roast regarding her husband's golf skills.
During Kuzma's first stint with the purple and gold franchise as a rookie, it was also Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's first year with the team. They both played four for LA with the two being pivotal pieces in the squad's 2020 championship run.

Aside from sharing snaps of the event, McKenzie Caldwell-Pope also shared several images of her husband showcasing his golf skills.
"Good times for a good cause," she wrote. "Thanks @kuz and @kylekuzmafamilyfoundation for an amazing time!"
Another former Lakers player present in her post was Dallas Mavericks assistant coach Jared Dudley. He played two seasons with the team and was also a part of the 2020 title roster.

Many NBA players attended the first celebrity annual golf outing of the Kyle Kuzma Family Foundation, as seen from the Wizards forward's latest Instagram post.
Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker and Miami Heat sophomore Jaime Jaquez Jr. turned up to support the event and Kuzma's foundation.
"This was our mood all night after raising a little under 1 million dollars for @kylekuzmafamilyfoundation two nights ago," Kuzma posted. "Wow! What a team effort and special thanks to all my dear friends and partners for showing out for us and making our first annual Gala so special."
Kuzma shared in his Instagram post that the foundation was able to raise "a little under $1 million." Kentavious Caldwell-Pope also shared a brief video of Kuzma and other NBA players playing golf for the foundation. Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon was also there.
With the NBA Offseason still underway, the foundation was a great way for the players to reconnect off the court.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope shared snaps of his daughter Kendall's first birthday on Aug. 24.
The adorable snaps were shared on Instagram with a beach-themed birthday party for his daughter. It was a packed event with several guests present and a bouncy house set up for the kids.
Caldwell-Pope put up 10.1 points (46.0% shooting, including 40.6% from beyond the arc) and 2.4 assists per game last season. After helping the Denver Nuggets bring home a championship in 2023, he is entering a new journey in his NBA career with the Orlando Magic. He has signed to a three-year, $66 million contract.
