Paul George and the LA Clippers' hopes of keeping their 2020-21 NBA season alive were on the line after falling to a 2-0 deficit against the Utah Jazz. But they came back to win Games 3 and 4 to level the series at 2-2. They went into Game 5 at a hostile Vivint Smart Home Arena without Kawhi Leonard, who was ruled out due to injury. Tyronn Lue's team were up against it once again, and much of the responsibility to bail them out fell on George's shoulders.

In what was one of his greatest 'Playoff P' performances, the 31-year-old erupted to score 37 points on the road. Paul George was extremely efficient with his shooting, recording 12/22 from the floor and 10 of 11 from the free-throw line. His performance gave the LA Clippers an upset win over the Utah Jazz on enemy territory.

George's Game 5 performance definitely looked like the best of his postseason career. If you factor in the expectations, the Clippers' injuries and the unwelcoming atmosphere, it should certainly be a night that puts the 'Pandemic P' jokes to rest.

Of course, PG and the Clippers will need to complete the task, whether it is at home in Game 6 or with an unlikely Game 7 win on the road. If Kawhi Leonard does not return, Paul George will need to do take it upon himself once again to put the LA Clippers in the Conference Finals.

Paul George's overall numbers in the second-round battle against the Jazz have been amazing. In the five games so far, he has averaged 29.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. George has also made 44.6% of his field goals, 41.9% of his three-point shots (8.6 attempts from beyond the arc per game) and 90.5% of his free throws (8.4 attempts per game).
