New Orleans Pelicans starting center Jonas Valanciunas was joined by special guests during his post-game press conference after his team's 122-114 win over the LA Clippers on Saturday. His two sons crashed the interview and stood right by him, producing a wholesome moment. Here's the clip (via NBA on Twitter):

"My security," said Valanciounas hilariously as his sons joined him.

It was the first time Valanciunas' sons made a public appearance. The former lottery pick has kept his personal life lowkey and in the shadows throughout his NBA career, making this a rare occurrence.

Jonas Valanciunas has been an underrated contributor for the surging New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans have been among the hottest teams in the NBA lately. They have won seven of their last eight games following their latest victory over the LA Clippers. Brandon Ingram has been their best player during this stretch. However, Jonas Valanciunas has also contributed greatly during this run.

He has averaged 17.0 points and 14.1 rebounds, shooting on 56/50/83 splits over his last eight games. Valanciunas' scoring and rebounding has been crucial as the Pelicans have been without Zion Williamson. They are battling to earn the sixth seed or a favorable spot, and to do that without Williamson has been an uphill task. Nevertheless, with the contributions of players like Valanciunas, the Pels have stayed afloat.

He dropped a double-double in their win against the LA Clippers, another team that could make way for New Orleans to enter the top six in the Western Conference standings.

The New Orleans Pelicans improved to 40-38 for the win and moved up to seventh in the standings. They are 0.5 games behind the sixth-placed LA Clippers with four games left in the season.

The Pels will hope Jonas Valanciunas continues to provide excellent support to Brandon Ingram over the next few games. New Orleans has one of the toughest schedules remaining as they face the Kings, Grizzlies, Knicks and Timberwolves in their final four games.

They will need all their players to step up and secure a positive result, with teams like the Lakers and Timberwolves also aiming to get into the top six or achieve a favorable seed in the play-in tournament.
