Michael Jordan's competitive nature was immeasurable and was evident during his 15-year career. Even after coming out of his first retirement from the NBA, Jordan's desire to win everything persisted.

In the summer of 1995, Jordan had just returned to the league as a member of the Chicago Bulls. He was also in the middle of shooting "Space Jam." To prepare for the upcoming 1995-96 season, the 6-foot-6 shooting guard specifically requested to have a basketball court constructed in the set for him to stay in shape.

Dubbed the "Jordan Dome," it served as an early rendition of the Bubble. Hall of Famers like Reggie Miller, Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley all had the chance to experience the game at the dome. Jordan's competitive nature took over as he used it to scout players' strengths and weaknesses.

According to MJ's former teammate B.J. Armstrong, they used the Jordan Dome to scout players' tendencies. It wasn't the main purpose of the dome. But it developed as some of the best players took some time off over the summer to get a chance to play with Jordan at Warner Brothers' studios.

"He had the idea if we invited the best players in the league out here, we would get a chance to see everybody before the season started," Armstrong said.
"And this was the opportunity for him to see everybody, and we would do scouting reports. This is what Chris Mullin would do, this is what Reggie Miller would do."

This proved to be a great strategy as the Bulls won the championship during the 1995-96 season. Jordan also won his fourth MVP award that season.

The feud between Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan is one of the most well-known beefs in sports history. It dates back to 1985, when the Bulls star noticed he wasn't receiving the ball as much, and his teammates were refusing to give him the ball. Although it wasn't a major incident, it lit a fire between them.

"Until I get a public apology, this beef is gonna go on for a long long time, cause I’m from the west side of Chicago," Thomas said.

Being in the same division helped build up their distaste toward each other. During the playoffs, the Detroit Pistons were always beating Chicago and Jordan. The Pistons "Bad Boys" played extremely physically when matched up against the 14-time All-Star.

Their feud had more reason to grow after the controversial selection of players for the 1992 "Dream Team." Jordan made sure that Thomas wasn't included in the star-studded US team. To read more about their feud, click here.
