Victor Wembanyama has been described as a 2K create-a-player due to his unique combination of skills and size. Ronnie 2K gave his honest opinion on Wembanyama, who is the consensus No. 1 pick in next year's draft. That means the French prospect will make his debut in NBA 2K24.

On "The Rich Eisen Show," Ronnie 2K discussed Wembanyama's impending arrival in the NBA. The Digital Marketing Director of 2K Sports opened up about the potential difficulties of adding Wembanyama to the game.

"We've definitely talked about that guy," Ronnie 2K said. "I mean, he's the freak NBA 2K player, right? He's a 7'4" that can do everything. He's KD (Kevin Durant) with five extra inches. ... He's gonna break our game."

Ronnie 2K explained how difficult it might be to incorporate someone like Wembanyama into the game. He thinks they will have the same problem when they needed to include Steph Curry's ridiculous 3-point shooting in NBA 2K17.

"You guys remember when Stephen Curry made 402 3-pointers back in 2016?" Ronnie 2K said. "That was a challenging thing for us. Not the amount he made them, but the way he made them. All of a sudde,n he's making them from 35 feet consistently.

He continued:

"That is very arcady, like very 2K. It was something that we had to sit around and figure out how are we going to deal with this evolution of the game."

Steph Curry has called Victor Wembanyama a 'cheat code'

Steph Curry was one of a handful NBA superstars who had nothing but praise for Victor Wembanyama a few ago. Curry called Wembanyama a "cheat code" and a "2K create-a-player."

"He's solid; he's solid," Curry said. "He's like a 2K create-a-player. Every point guard who wants to be 7-foot. Cheat code-type vibes; he's a solid talent. It's great to watch."

LeBron James described Wembanyama as an alien, while Giannis Antetokounmpo cannot wait to compete against the young French talent. Kevin Durant thinks the NBA is in trouble, as the league is not ready for someone like Wembanyama.

The 18-year-old prospect is expected to be the No. 1 pick in next year's draft. Several NBA analysts and insiders believe Wembanyama's impending arrival would have a huge effect this season. There could be unprecedented tanking in the bottom of the standings, especially midway through the regular season.

Victor Wembanyama proved that the hype surrounding him is real with two unbelievable performances against the NBA G League Ignite Team. Wembanyama was watched by over 200 scouts and executives from all 30 teams.

An anonymous general manager told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that Wembanyama is the most hyped rookie since LeBron James. The GM expects many teams to tank for the opportunity to draft a once-in-a-lifetime prospect.

"Victor distorts basketball reality," the GM said. "The tank/trade market will really shift after that showing. It feels like last night will start a race to the bottom like we've never seen. He's a 7-foot-4 Durant who blocks shots, and he's not even close to what he's going to be. He will be the most hyped player since LeBron."
