Fred VanVleet had some very harsh words for NBA referee Ben Taylor following the Toronto Raptors' 108-100 loss to the LA Clippers on Wednesday. VanVleet was so angry that he didn't care about getting fined and went off on the official for his terrible calls.VanVleet was unhappy with how Taylor officiated the game. The two have some sort of history and VanVleet believes that most of the technical fouls he received in his career were called by Taylor."I thought Ben Taylor was f**king terrible tonight," VanVleet said. "I think that most nights, you know out of the three, there's one or two that just f**k the game up. It's been like that a couple of games in a row. Denver was tough, obviously."Fred VanVleet alluded to Ben Taylor's performance in the Toronto Raptors-LA Clippers game, as well as Scott Foster's questionable ejection of Scottie Barnes in Denver. VanVleet added that he doesn't care about getting fined and continued to blast Taylor and the officiating."You come out tonight, competing pretty hard and I get a bulls**t tech that changes the whole dynamic of the game, changed the whole flow of the game," VanVleet said. "And you know, most of the refs are trying hard. I like a lot of the refs, they're trying hard, they're pretty fair, and communicate well. And then you got the other ones who just want to be d**ks and just kind of f**k up the game. And no one's coming to see that s**t."Fans on social media reacted to VanVleet's tirade. Most agreed that officiating in the NBA this season has been horrible. They called out the league for not holding referees accountable for their mistakes. Here are some of the comments on Twitter:J-Dub@NoCaping757@michaelgrange From a dubs fan thanks for this Fred!!! Confusion prevails as fired claims surface onlineWill Fred VanVleet leave the Toronto Raptors in the offseason?Fred VanVleet of the Toronto RaptorsFred VanVleet has a player option worth around $22 million for next season. If VanVleet opts out of his contract, he will enter unrestricted free agency. VanVleet and the Toronto Raptors negotiated a contract extension worth $114 million earlier in the season. However, Michael Grange of SportsNet reported that both sides decided it was better to discuss it in the offseason. TSN's Josh Lewenberg noted that VanVleet wants at least a four-year, $130 million deal similar to what Tyler Herro received from the Miami Heat last summer.Despite the possibility of an extension, VanVleet was linked to several teams at the trade deadline. The Raptors will have to make some important decisions with VanVleet, Gary Trent Jr. and Pascal Siakam all due for a payday. Scottie Barnes will also be eligible to sign a rookie max after next season. Also Read: Has Shawn Kemp been arrested before? Shedding light on NBA legend’s multiple arrests
