Aaron Gordon is in the midst of the best season of his nine-year career. Off the court, the Denver Nuggets forward has reportedly ended his relationship with Izabela Guedes. The couple began dating in March 2020 before reportedly calling things off in August 2021.

Guedes is a Brazilian model who gained notoriety in 2021 when Playboy announced that she would be the first-ever seasonal Playmate. She opened up on the historic opportunity in an exclusive with Fox News, stating:

"Honestly, I was just so, so happy. I couldn’t believe they chose me. I’ve been modeling for so long so to be part of Playboy is just incredible. It’s such an iconic magazine and so important to our culture."

Guedes shared how the honor differentiated from Playboy's Playmate of the Month and Playmate of the Year honors, adding:

"I think it’s an opportunity to get to know a Playmate better. For example, I’m from Brazil, so this is an opportunity to show a little bit of my Brazilian culture, which is cool. I think it’s a chance to know a Playmate better. And you can develop an even stronger connection with them. I think one month goes by so fast so three months is definitely cool."

It is unclear why Aaron Gordon and Izabela Guedes decided to call things off. Prior to dating the fourth overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft, Guedes reportedly dated rapper Wiz Khalifa and former MLB star Matt Kemp.

How has Aaron Gordon performed in the 2022-2023 season?

Aaron Gordon, now in his ninth season in the NBA, is having a career year in 2022-2023. The Denver Nuggets forward is averaging 17.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game. Gordon is shooting 58.3% from the field and 37.3% from 3-point range, both career-highs.

Gordon has only made the postseason three times in his career, two of which he was eliminated in just five games. The Nuggets, however, appear to be a postseason lock, as they are currently in first place in the Western Conference with a record of 24-13.
