Guillermo Rodriguez was born in Zacatecas, Mexico before moving to the United States later. Rodriguez started working as a part-time security guard for the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" studio before starting to appear on air due to his funny personality.

The 52-year-old became a sidekick for Jimmy Kimmel and was an understudy for "Uncle Frank" Potenza. He took over Potenza's role on the show after the latter death's in 2011.

Some of Guillermo's most famous skits involved LeBron James. He tried to get James to acknowledge him during practice. "The King" ignored him, as it was during his preparation for the 2015 NBA Finals. Nevertheless, the "LeBron" counter made it even funnier.

For many years, Guillermo Rodriguez tried to get the attention of LeBron James. However, "The King" has continuously ignored the television personality for unknown reasons.

In an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in 2021, James finally explained why he never acknowledged Rodriguez's presence all these years.

"See Guillermo, he gave me an opportunity to focus even more during all those Finals runs I had," James said. "I was saying to myself, 'If I could block him out, then the fans have no chance.'"

At the end of the interview, Rodriguez finally had his moment with "The King." The two hugged and were all smiles. It was an awesome moment for Rodriguez, who has been a good sport all those years.

James is known for blocking everything out when the NBA playoffs start. It has worked out for him, considering that he won four championships during his legendary career.
