Chicago Bulls v Brooklyn Nets - Kyrie Irving

NBA analyst Tim MacMahon has called Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving the "NBA Kanye" and stated that everyone needs to stop wasting time on him.

Irving has come under immense media scrutiny once again after posting a link to an anti-Semitic film.

Kanye West, meanwhile, came under fire for his anti-Semitic views after posting a tweet that said he would go “death con 3 on Jewish people". This resulted in Adidas canceling his sneaker line, as well as several other companies cutting ties.

While appearing on a podcast alongside long-time ESPN reporters Brian Windhorst and Tim Bontemps, MacMahon said people should stop paying attention to what people like Irving and West say.

"Why are we wasting time putting any thought into what the NBA Kanye is saying. He's just flapping his gums ... There is no thought process to it. He is insane."

Kyrie Irving came under fire for promoting an anti-Semitic book and video called "Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America." When asked about it by a reporter, Irving said the following:

"Can you please stop calling it a promotion? What am I promoting? I put it out there just like how you put things out there, right? Let's move on. Don't dehumanize me up here."

Kyrie Irving continues to be in the spotlight for off-court incidents

Kyrie Irving has continued to remain in the spotlight for his off-court shenanigans, which have overshadowed his on-court brilliance.

He claims to have faith in all major world religions and clarified his identity as an Omnist on Twitter, saying that his principles do not align with anti-Semitism. However, people are not happy with Irving's actions and words.

Considering he is playing for a max deal this season, he was expected to be on better behavior. However, just a few games in, he has already made the news for all the wrong reasons.

The Brooklyn Nets have been in shambles for the last couple of seasons, with the latest incident being the firing of their head coach Steve Nash.

Amid all the chaos, the team has started the season in terrible fashion. Ben Simmons has looked a shell of his former All-Star self as the Australian native has refused to consistently shoot, hampering the Nets offense in the process.

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are playing at a high level, but the duo have been unable to dominate games so far this season. With the Nets roster lacking size and two-way players, they might not be able to contend for a championship.
