#3 Paul Milsap

Paul Millsap was a factor in the Denver Nuggets' amazing run to the 2020 NBA Finals, but it seems that the franchise may not want to bring the player back, as per NBA trade rumors.

At 35, Millsap just doesn't offer enough to the franchise to justify bringing him back for even another year. While Millsap does have a good game and a clutch shot on occasion, it is clear that the former All-Star player is on a steep decline.

Considering the same, the Denver Nuggets are very unlikely to bring back Paul Millsap next year.

#4 Jerami Grant

Jerami Grant has been a dazzling player for the Denver Nuggets. Be it starting or while coming off the bench, the 26-year-old has seldom failed to impress

Unfortunately for fans of the franchise, NBA trade rumors have strongly indicated that Grant may intend to opt out of his contract to become a free agent this off-season. With stronger contenders than the Nuggets reportedly interested in Grant's services, the player could reportedly leave the Denver Nuggets this off-season.

If Jerami Grant does leave the Nuggets, it would leave a gigantic hole in the franchise's roster, though.

#5 Gary Harris

Gary Harris

Gary Harris has been another standout player for the Denver Nuggets last season, with his impact at both ends proving crucial for the franchise.

However, with the Denver Nuggets seemingly aware of the gap between them and other contending teams, the only way to close that gap would be by getting a backcourt player of better caliber than Harris for Jamal Murray. The player the franchise needs is one who is an elite defensive player and can contribute in offense, something that Gary Harris quite simply isn't.

Considering the same, Gary Harris is likely to be sacrificed by the Denver Nuggets this off-season.
