#3 Rajon Rondo

With NBA trade rumors suggesting that Rajon Rondo could opt out of his contract to become a free agent this off-season, several teams in the competition are enthused at the prospect of signing him, and quite justifiably so.

During the LA Lakers' title run, the 34-year-old showed that he could be more than what it takes to be a factor on a championship team. His playmaking was as impressive as ever while his defense was still what it was during the days of his prime. However, while he can knock down the occasional open shot, Rondo cannot space the floor for his team.

His inability to space the floor would only be a minor inconvenience if he is acquired by the franchise, as the Milwaukee Bucks desperately need a player like Rajon Rondo in its roster.

#4 Derrick Rose

Despite suffering frequent knee injuries early on in his career, Derrick Rose has evolved to become a star in the NBA, with his injury problems only a thing of the past now.

The 32-year-old is a brilliant scorer who can slash but also has a three-point-shot. He has also improved massively as a playmaker, sometimes making incredibly impressive plays during clutch moments.

While Rose's defense can sometimes be a liability of sorts, the Milwaukee Bucks have more than enough in its roster to cover for the players' weakness.

If the Bucks acquire Derrick Rose this off-season, we might see the team winning an NBA Championship in the very near future.

#5 James Harden

While James Harden may not have started out as a point guard, the 31-year-old has played the position for the Houston Rockets on countless occasions, which is why we have included him on this list.

Despite another disappointing campaign for his team, Harden managed to silence a lot of his critics during the 2020 postseason by showing some emphatic defense while improving with each passing game at the offensive end of the floor as well.

Even though the Rockets' system largely stifled his offensive play, James Harden is an elite playmaker who can also be the shot creator for his team in the clutchest moments.

It may cost the Milwaukee Bucks a fortune, but if they can get James Harden on board, the team could become one of the most dominant ones in the NBA.
