Michael Jordan has always been known to be an extremely competitive basketball player. That's why the majority of the basketball world considers him to be the greatest of all time. His competitive spirit translates into very efficient and dominant performances on the court. With that said, Jordan is currently the all-time leader in game score.

MJ currently holds the record with a game score of 64.60. Jordan has held the record since 1990 when he had a double-double outing. "His Airness" put up 69 points, 18 rebounds, six assists, four steals, and one block.

#2 Kobe Bryant (63.50 GmSc)

Many basketball fans claim that Kobe Bryant was the second coming of Michael Jordan. Bryant was literally everything Jordan was, a competitive player who cared about nothing else but winning titles.

Back in 2006, Kobe Bryant made history by ranking second in the most points scored in a single game. Wilt Chamberlain still holds the record for scoring 100 points. But Kobe came close when he scored 81 points. His scorching hot shooting night awarded him with a game score of 63.50.

#3 Karl Malone (60.20 GmSc)

According to sources, "The Mailman" made three Finals appearances but never won any of them. Nevertheless, he was still an incredible player and will forever be considered one of the greats to never win a ring.

During one of the games in the 1989-90 NBA season, Karl Malone put on one of his best performances in history. With a game score of 60.20, Malone put up 61 points, 18 rebounds, and three steals.

James Harden is no Kobe Bryant or Michael Jordan, but he's definitely one of the best shooting guards in league history. That was especially the case when he was still playing for the Houston Rockets. During his time there, Harden won his one and only league MVP award. "The Beard" was on top of his game and was considered one of the NBA's deadliest scorers at the time.

During his MVP season, James Harden had a game score of 56.60. Harden had a triple-double outing with 60 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds.
