Karl Malone's name is synonymous with the Utah Jazz's golden era ie, the '90s. Though the Jazz failed to win a championship during his career even after making it to the playoffs every season, Malone led the team to the NBA Finals in 1997 as well as 1998.

He averaged a career-high 31 points per game during the 1989-90 season and was averaging 10.1 rebounds per game when he retired in 2004. As tenacious as they come, he was a monster on the boards.

Coupled with Stockton's masterclass point guard act, Malone stacked up innumerable points off the pick-and-rolls they ran with perfection. Carrying a muscular 260-pound frame, he is regarded as arguably the most dominant power forward of all time. The thread of his persona that often goes unnoticed is his durability. He never missed more than two games in any of the 18 seasons with the Jazz.

He is a member of the NBA's 50th anniversary all-time team and his #32 jersey has been rightfully retired by the Utah Jazz. Malone's 435 games of at least 30 points helped him in reaching his career tally of 36928 total points.
