After getting swept by the New Orleans Pelicans 4-0 in the First Round of the 2018 Playoffs, the Trail Blazers re-signed Jusuf Nurkic for a 4-year deal and that appears to have paid dividends for now as the Center is averaging a double-double over the season for the second time in his career.

The Blazers who started the season hot even climbed the top of the ladder in West at one point of time. However, losing six out of seven games derailed their progress and are currently at the fourth spot in the Conference with a 29-20 win-loss record.

The heart of this has been Damian Lillard all season long who is scoring like it is nothing. With his consistent performances, he has taken this team to another level. Lillard is averaging 26.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game this season.

CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic have also been consistent for the team and for now, it looks like the Blazers are going to make some noise in the playoffs. Last night, the Blazers were in Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder.

Their three-game win streak came to an end, thanks to Paul George and Russell Westbrook's big-time performances. They will now be up against the Suns in Phoenix and this will bring their three-game road trip to an end.

The Suns are on a five-game losing streak and this is a nice chance for the Blazers to pick up an easy win. A win in Phoenix will better their record and give them a good chance to get to the third spot. The Blazers are probably going to use the same lineup they have been using all this season long.

The predicted Portland Trail Blazers' starting lineup:

Maurice Harkless (F), Al-Farouq Aminu (F), Jusuf Nurkic (C), CJ McCollum (G) and Damian Lillard (G)
