Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers won the game against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, but not without creating a hilarious moment with his teammates. The Cavs took care of the business and won 114-102.

Mitchell led the Cavs with 29 points, nine assists and four rebounds. Funny enough, the Cavs guard should've only gotten three boards, but he grabbed his fourth during the final seconds of the game. After getting his final rebound, his teammate Jarrett Allen could only stare at him in surprise.

Second-year forward Evan Mobley had an amazing performance, scoring 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists. He could've gotten a double-double in points and rebounds if it weren't for Mitchell's last play. Both the big man and the speedy guard were pursuing the ball for different reasons.

Mitchell was looking forward to the game's conclusion, while the 7-foot big man was trying to get his fifth double-double of the season. It took a while for the shooting guard to realize what he had done and was embarassingly surprised by his on-court action. Check out this video of the hilarious moment between the Cavs teammates.

Still, Cleveland were able to improve to 11-6, continuing their winning streak to three.

It's still early in the season, however, Donovan Mitchell has already impressed his doubters. Not to mention, it's Mitchell's first season with the Cavs and he's already showing a massive impact on the team. He's their leading scorer this season, which was their biggest need the previous season.

Mitchell is averaging 29.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists this season. He's making his shots at a high rate, knocking down 49.8% of his shots and 41% of his long distance shots. One aspect of his game that tends to get overlooked is the increase in his assists.

Although he was known to be a willing passer back with the Utah Jazz, Mitchell's taken his game to a whole different level. With the Jazz last season, he averaged 25.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists. His efficiency for the Jazz last season wasn't impressive. He only shot 44.8%, including 35.5% from beyond the arc.

Mitchell is also more comfortable handling the ball with two big men as lob threats. Additionally, Mobley's ability to make his own offense has made the scoring guard's job much easier. He's more mobile on the floor and easily commands the Cavs' offense with ease whenever Darius Garland isn't on the floor.

While there are still plenty of games to be played, Donovan Mitchell has already taken command of the squad, making them a serious threat in the Eastern Conference.
