Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks picked up a much needed 116-113 win over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday. The win snapped the Mavs’ four-game losing streak and helped them get back to .500 (10-10). Doncic also had an impressive 41-point triple-double in the game.
However, none of this stopped Doncic from seemingly insinuating that the referees were paid to give calls in favor of the Warriors.
In a clip circulating from the game, Mavericks big man Christian Wood can be seen driving to the paint against Warriors reserve forward Anthony Lamb. Wood then pushes Lamb and knocks him to the ground in what many agreed looked like a clear offensive foul. However, Doncic still raised his arms in frustration and then did a money rubbing gesture towards one of the referees.

Dallas finished the game with 27 free throw attempts compared to Golden State’s 23. Doncic alone went to the line 15 times.
Steph Curry on the late travel call against him versus the Mavericks

One of the final plays in the Mavericks versus Warriors game only offered further proof that all calls did not go Golden State's way. Steph Curry was called for a controversial travel with 10.1 seconds remaining with his team was trailing by two points.
Such calls are rarely made in the final seconds of close games, let alone on a superstar in Curry. Following the game, Curry spoke about the call.
“Bang, bang situation. Dumb play by me not to take the layup, Curry said.
“I got a little confused on what the time and the score was, honestly, and went for the hero shot. I didn’t think it was a travel until the point where you don’t let the play run out, but who am I to say?” Curry continued.
The Warriors still got one more shot to tie the game when they were down by three. This came after Mavs forward Dorian Finney-Smith split a pair of free throws. However, Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson missed the game-tying 3-pointer with around two seconds left.
Following the loss, Golden State has fallen to 11-11 and 10th in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, Dallas has improved to 10-10 and ninth in the West.
