Michael Jordan once revealed in a March 1989 interview that he's afraid of women and that the only woman he trusted was his mother. Jordan eventually shook off his fear of the opposite gender and got married later that year.

In an interview with GQ Magazine for their March 1989 issue, Jordan discussed his dating life that included a brief relationship with actress Robin Givens. "His Airness" explained that Givens dated him, as he was famous, and it ended quickly.

"It got tired in five, six days," Jordan said. "I could see it."

The Chicago Bulls legend added that he was not dating anyone at that point, as he was afraid of women. Jordan was not literally scared of them but admitted that women were going to be a problem for him.

"Right now, I don't trust no one except my mother," Jordan said.

Despite his revelation, Jordan married Juanita Vanoy a few months after his interview. They were together till 2006 when they got divorced. The couple had three children together, sons Jeffrey and Marcus, and a daughter, Jasmine.

Jeffrey played college basketball at the University of Central Florida but never turned pro. He became an entrepreneur, co-founding a consultant group called the Jordan Avakian Group.

Meanwhile, Marcus also played at UCF but failed to make it as a pro. He's also an entrepreneur but recently made headlines for being in an alleged relationship with Scottie Pippen's ex-wife, Larsa Pippen.

Jasmine works for her father's Jordan Brand in the sports marketing division. She's married to former NBA player Rakeem Christmas, and they have one child together, a son named Rakeem Michael.

Michael Jordan met his second wife, Yvette Prieto, at a Miami nightclub in 2008. They started dating shortly after that and moved in together the next year. Jordan proposed to Prieto in 2011 in the middle of their Christmas vacation.

The couple were married on April 27, 2013 at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida. A total of 500 guests were invited to the ceremony and reception, which included Tiger Woods, Spike Lee and Patrick Ewing.

Michael Jordan and Prietto have two daughters, twins Victoria and Ysabel, born on February 9, 2014. The six-time NBA champion opened up about his relationship with his second wife in a 2013 interview with ESPN.

"It's amazing what women can talk you into doing," Jordan said. "Make you change. Ten years ago, we'd have been arguing all f***ing day. I would've won. This time, this stage where I am, you win. That's progress."
