Who is Aaron Gordon's ex-girlfriend Izabela Guedes? All you need to know

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon isn't currently dating anybody. However, his ex-girlfriend Izabela Guedes made headlines last year when it was announced that she would be the first-ever Playboy 'Seasonal Playmate'. The popular longtime magazine had previously announced that they would transition to using one model for every season of the year.

The news quickly got around on social media, with fans picking up on Guedes' relationship with Denver Nuggets star Aaron Gordon at the time. The former arguable Slam Dunk Contest champion was reportedly in a relationship with Guedes for about a year when the news broke of her historic Playboy opportunity.

As she explained at the time, the opportunity to model for Playboy was a huge deal. She spoke in an interview with Fox News about the opportunity, saying:

"Honestly, I was just so, so happy. I couldn’t believe they chose me. I’ve been modeling for so long so to be part of Playboy is just incredible. It’s such an iconic magazine and so important to our culture."

She continued, explaining how she was excited to showcase her Brazilian heritage during the three-month-long stint as a Seasonal Playmate.

"I think it’s an opportunity to get to know a Playmate better. For example, I’m from Brazil, so this is an opportunity to show a little bit of my Brazilian culture, which is cool. I think it’s a chance to know a Playmate better. And you can develop an even stronger connection with them. I think one month goes by so fast so three months is definitely cool."

Prior to dating Aaron Gordon, she was dating none other than popular musician Wiz Khalifa. The pair were reportedly together for over a year before breaking up in early 2018.

Aaron Gordon's season with the Denver Nuggets

Aaron Gordon is having his best year yet with the Denver Nuggets. After joining the team at the end of the 2020-21 season, Aaron Gordon saw his production drop with the Denver franchise throughout the rest of the year.

The following season, he was able to improve on numbers across the board, averaging 15.0 points per game at a career-best 52.0% from the field. This year has been more of the same for the 27-year-old.

He's currently showing improved numbers across the board compared to last season. With 16.8 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game to his name, Gordon has also managed to improve on his field goal percentage this season.

Currently, the Denver Nuggest have one of the best records in the Western Conference, sitting in fourth place. With the Western Conference being extremely competitive, the team will need Aaron Gordon, Jamal Murray, and Nikola Jokic at their best. If they have any hope of making a run in the playoffs, they will also be left eagerly awaiting the return of Michael Porter Jr.

The team will take on the Utah Jazz on Saturday night at home and will look to pick up their second straight win after losing three-straight to start the month of December.
