The main quest Easter Egg in the new Reckoning map serves as the final chapter in the Black Ops 6 Zombies storyline. Introduced with the Season 5 update, this map stands out thanks to its innovative mechanics, such as the anti-gravity launchers and Aether vents. These elevate the overall gameplay. Most importantly, the main Easter Egg provides a definitive conclusion to the storyline, tying together all the events leading up to it.

This article covers the Reckoning main quest Easter Egg walkthrough, offering a detailed guide on how to complete it in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

How to complete the Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning main quest Easter Egg

Once you start a match in Black Ops 6 Zombies on the Reckoning map, you'll spawn in the T1 Project Janus Reception area. Here, Richtofen informs you that the Aether reactors need to be stabilized, or everyone in the facility will die. He instructs you to head to his office and activate whatever you find there.

As with previous Zombies Easter Eggs, this quest starts with a set of guided objectives, helping you until you reach the Pack-a-Punch machine. After that, there are no in-game prompts to guide you, and you’re on your own. The initial guided objectives are as follows:

Find Richtofen's Office

Upon spawning in the Reception area, you’ll have two paths to choose from:

  • The right path leads to the Mutant Research area.
  • The left path leads to the Quantum Computing area.
Ad

You can select either.

In my case, I chose the left path leading to the Quantum Computing path. The door to this area costs 1,750 Essence, so kill zombies and collect enough to unlock it.

Once opened, you’ll find an Aether Elevator inside. Use it to teleport to the T1 Quantum Computing Core.

Reach the Anti-Gravity Launcher

Continue straight to find another locked door, which requires 2,000 Essence to open.

It leads to the T1 Quantum Computing Lab. Inside, head toward the orange star icon on your HUD, which directs you to the Anti-Grav Personnel Launcher. Use the launcher to propel yourself to the next tower.

Reach the T2 Android Assembly Room

You’ll now arrive at the T2 Android Assembly area. Proceed to the locked door labeled Entity Containment, and unlock it using 2,250 Essence.

Inside, you’ll find another Aether Elevator. Use it to teleport to the T2 Dark Entity Containment area.

Here, you’ll see another Anti-Grav Personnel Launcher. Use it to launch yourself back to Tower 1, but this time land in the uppermost section, the T1 Executive Suite.

Enter Richtofen's Office

In the Executive Suite, you’ll find a blocked door labeled T1 Director’s Office, which is Richtofen’s office. Unlock it using 2,500 Essence.

Restart the Particle Accelerator

Once in the T2 Sublevel 10 area, go straight to the control room on the elevated platform. Interact with the consoles to turn on the power, which also activates the Particle Accelerator.

Clear Aetherium Deposits from Coolant Pipes

Nearby, you’ll find four coolant pipes connected to the Particle Accelerator. The pipes will have Aetherium crystals; a total of 12 will be present in four different pipes.

Break all 12 to relieve pressure on the reactors. This action will also reduce the chamber's gravity, allowing you to float slightly.

Ad

In this low-gravity chamber, you’ll find a Pack-a-Punch machine floating and shifting positions. Jump, float toward it, and interact with it to upgrade your weapon.

From this point onward, the guided objectives end, and you're on your own to uncover the rest of the narrative. The game no longer provides step-by-step instructions, so you'll need to explore and experiment to progress the storyline.

Acquire the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon

Now that you've activated the Particle Accelerator and unlocked the Pack-a-Punch machine, your next objective is to acquire the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon.

Solve the code puzzle

  • Go to T1 Mutant Research Area.
  • Interact with two static-filled consoles to get two random words.
  • Note the first letter of each word, then match the letter pair to a chemical symbol on the Periodic Table
  • Example: If the letters are C and A, you’ll get either CA or AC. Match them against the Periodic Table to find the correct element. Here, CA stands for Calcium, which has an atomic number of 20. That means your code is: 020. (Always format it as a three-digit code by adding zeros before.
  • Use the code at the door panel to unlock the T1 Bioweapons Lab.
Ad

Activate the Cyst

  • Inside the lab, find the Cyst on a test console.
  • Kill three Vermins and three normal zombies near it to power it up.
  • Collect the Cyst once it’s activated.

Charge the Cyst using Dark Aether Flora

  • Go to T1 Quantum Computing Core.
  • Find three Dark Aether flowers, stand near each to drain the flowers’ flora health.
  • Do this at all three flowers.

Initiate Power Surge

  • Go to T2 Dark Entity Containment.
  • Interact with the console that states “Initiate Power Surge”, then quickly activate the three other consoles with the same message clockwise around the area.
Ad

Defeat HVT Uber Klaus (Forsaken)

  • After the power surge, one Uber Klaus spawns.
  • Damage it (leave at least 10% HP) and lure him into the electric field.
  • The Forsaken infuses the robot, triggering a mini-boss fight.

Defeat it to receive the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon.

Craft Klaus

To craft Klaus, you’ll need to collect a total of four components:

  • Two Klaus Arms
  • Two Klaus Legs

Collect Klaus Arms (Dropped during Special Rounds)

Ad

The Klaus Arms are obtained in two special rounds where Kommando Klaus enemies spawn.

  • These special enemies appear during certain rounds, typically around Round 5 or 6, and again around Round 10 or 11.
  • Defeat them, and one Klaus Arm will drop per special round.
  • Since the drops are random, you must complete at least two special rounds to collect both arms.

Locate Klaus' Legs (Found in Android Assembly Area)

The Klaus Legs can be located in the T2 Android Assembly area. They are white in color, making them easy to spot.

Ad
  • First potential Leg Location: On the right side of the ammo crate, placed on the top shelf of a metal storage rack.
  • Second potential Leg Location: Near the Anti-Gravity Personnel Launcher, close to a broken door.

Search both spots to collect the legs.

Assemble Klaus

Once you’ve gathered all four limbs, head to the area where Klaus’s body is hanging, near where you found the second leg. It’s located parallel to the Anti-Gravity Personnel Launchers in the T2 Android Assembly area.

Ad

Approach the body and interact with it to attach all the limbs and complete Klaus’s assembly.

Unlocking the Teleporter Lab

Before proceeding, return to the spawn area. Next to the Rampage Inducer, you’ll see a mop bucket. Melee it to move it under the sprinkler on the ceiling. This step is required for a later part of the quest.

Now that you are done with this prep step, follow these instructions:

Obtain the Syringe

Head to the T1 Mutant Research Lab. Near the containment pod, you’ll find:

  • A console
  • A small white container nearby

Interact with the container to open it and collect the Syringe.

Travel to T2 Sublevel 10, where the Pack-a-Punch machine and laser beam are located. You’ll see floating objects, including a zombie corpse, in the laser beam.

Ad
  • Jump into the beam to become an element of light.
  • Carefully move through the beam and avoid obstacles, but make sure to touch the zombie corpse.
  • This will cause the corpse to fall to the ground.

Approach the fallen corpse and interact with it to collect the blood sample.

Once you unlock this secret portal, continue playing until an Uber Klaus spawns. Lure it to the T2 Android Assembly area, where Klaus’s body is hanging. Now, let the robot use its charged attack near Klaus’s body. This way, because of the attack’s electric nature, Klaus will activate.

Ad

After that, it will start interacting with a nearby computer, then move to a different location.

Complete the SAM Trial

Follow Klaus as he leads you to a S.A.M. trial console. He will interact with it, triggering the S.A.M. trial. Complete the trial, and once it's finished, Klaus will move again, and this time, it will head toward the red portal you unlocked earlier. Follow him through the portal to the T2 Teleporter Lab, where he'll interact with another computer.

On the right side of the red portal, near a zombie spawn window, is a computer that requires a four-digit code.

Ad

To find the code, look for four documents scattered in two areas on the map. Their potential spawn locations include:

  • Inside the Teleporter Lab, on the console opposite the red portal
  • In the T1 Executive Suite and Director’s Office, where you need to check all tables and desks.

Each document contains:

  • An Item Name
  • An Item Number
  • An Archive Date

How to solve the code:

  • Take note of the Item Numbers and their associated dates.
  • Sort the documents by month in ascending order.
  • Use the Item Numbers in that order to form your 4-digit code.
Ad

Enter the code on the computer. If it's correct, the screen will display the "Access Granted" message.

Go to the T1 Quantum Computing Core. At the central console, you’ll find a machine labeled Project Janus with three green lights on it. Melee the machine to open it. You may need the Melee Macchiato perk for this. Once the machine is open, collect the purple brain inside.

Ad

Head back to the Teleportation Lab immediately, and near Klaus, you’ll find a console similar to the one you took the brain from. Place the brain in the Project Janus machine.

Infuse Gorgofex with a blue electric orb

Next, return to the Pack-a-Punch chamber and enter the control room. The consoles will display “Boot Ready.” Interact with it, and the laser beam in the room will change from blue to red, initiating the next phase.

Ad

Soon after, four blue Vermins will spawn, which you must eliminate using the Gorgofex. Once they’re dealt with, take out the normal zombies with any weapon you want. Subsequently, you’ll notice a floating, blue, electrified orb appear above the consoles.

Interact with it to infuse the orb into your Wonder Weapon. Now, without firing the weapon, return to the Teleportation Lab. There, you’ll see a portal surrounded by blue Aether crystals, so fire the charged Wonder Weapon at it to clear the portal.

Go back to the T1 Quantum Computing Core. Stand near the west wall, face northeast, and look upward, where you’ll spot a small room.

Ad

Use a fully charged shot from your Gorgofex Wonder Weapon to hit the room, and a Fungal Head will drop.

Once you have it, head back to the spawn area where you placed the mop bucket under the sprinkler earlier. You’ll find that the bucket is now filled with water. Place the Fungal Head into the bucket and then retrieve it again. Now, start killing zombies around yourself, and the Fungal Head will eventually become charged.

Next, you need to pull three levers in a specific sequence:

  1. The first lever (with a red light) is near the activated portal.
  2. After a few seconds, the second lever near Klaus will light up. Pull it.
  3. Shortly after, the third lever on the opposite side of the room activates. Pull it to complete the sequence.

Enter Tower 3’s Artifact Amplification Chamber

With that, the teleporter will become active in Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning. Enter it, and you'll be taken to Tower 3: Artifact Amplification Chamber, where you’ll find the Sentinel Artifact.

When interacting with the artifact in Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning, you’ll be prompted to choose between helping Richtofen or S.A.M. Whichever you don’t choose will become the final boss.

Ad

Once you select between Richtofen and S.A.M., the elevator will take you up to the next platform, where you'll encounter three Aether Canisters. To charge them, simply eliminate zombies nearby, and each canister will absorb the energy from the kills. After all three are fully charged, return to the elevator, which will then take you to a higher platform.

This new area will have glowing purple lights scattered across the elevated sections. Among them, you’ll find several crystals, and your objective is to destroy all of them. Be thorough, as leaving even one crystal will prevent further progress. Once every crystal is destroyed, the elevator will ascend to the final level, initiating the boss battle.

Defeat the Final Boss

The final boss battle in Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning is challenging, with mechanics that differ based on your choice. But once you successfully defeat them, the main Easter Egg quest in the Reckoning map concludes.

That covers everything that you need to know about the Reckoning main quest Easter Egg walkthrough in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
