James Geoffrey Franklin is the Head Coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions college football team. He became Penn State’s head coach on January 11, 2014. With 30 years of coaching experience, he is one of four current FBS coaches to lead teams to a bowl game in 12 of their first 13 seasons, guiding Penn State to five New Year’s Six bowls.
