Kyle McCord is an American college football player. He played as a quarterback for the Syracuse Orange as his last college team. The team competed in the Football Bowl Subdivision. He is in his senior year as of April 2025, according to his roster on the aforementioned university website. The Mt. Laurel, NJ native stands six feet, three inches tall and previously played for the Ohio State Buckeyes, a team which competes in the Big Ten Conference. McCord, whose full name is Kyle Allen McCord, was born on September 19, 2002.

Kyle McCordbegan his college football career in 2021 at Ohio State. During his freshman year, he attended five games and started one of them. McCord registered 25-of-38 passes for 416 yards and two touchdowns. The following year, he attended seven games as a sophomore and completed 16-of-20 passes with 190 yards and a touchdown. As a junior, his name was enlisted in the Big Ten All-Academic Team. McCord played and started in all 12 games that year. He has appeared in 24 games and started 13 of them overall in his Ohio State career.

McCord was moved to Syracuse Orange College for his senior year in 2024 after playing three years at Ohio State. There, he set the Atlantic Coast Conference's all-time passing record with 4,779. He concluded his college career with 234, which is the longest streak of consecutive passes without an interception in the history of the program.

Kyle McCord attended St. Joseph's Prep High School, as per his roster on the Syracuse University website. During his prep days, he was the nation's No. 25-ranked player in the Class of 2021. Additionally, 247Sports ranked him the No. 3 quarterback and a five-star prospect. McCord led his high school team to win its third straight state championship.
