Lane Kiffin is the head coach for the Ole Miss Rebels football team. Kiffin began as a student assistant for Fresno State Bulldogs in 1997. Upon graduating from Fresno State University, he was a graduate assistant at Colorado State before moving to Jacksonville in 2000 and became a scout for the Jaguars. Kiffin received his first significant success when he was appointed as the tight ends assistant at USC in 2001. During the 2005 season, he worked as the offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans. Kiffin signed with the NFL team Oakland Raiders in 2007 and became the youngest head coach in modern NFL history. Kiffin returned to collegiate coaching in 2009 and managed teams such as FAU, USC, and Tennessee and eventually committed to the Ole Miss Rebels in 2020.

Lane Kiffin is from Bloomington, Minnesota. He began his football career at Bloomington Jefferson High School and played college football at Fresno State University. Kiffin’s coaching career was remarkable, in his first year as the head coach at USC, Kiffin led the Trojans to an 8-5 record. He scouted and developed top talents such as Matt Barkley and Marqise Lee, helping them earn numerous All-American honors. At FAU, Kiffin won two C-USA conference championships in 2017 and 2019. He helped the Owls with at least 10 wins in two consecutive seasons. He guided them to the C-USA East Division championship in 2017 and 2019. At Alabama, Kiffin contributed as an offensive coordinator, helping Jalen Hurts and Blake Sims transform into elite quarterbacks. Since his arrival at Ole Miss in 2020, Kiffin reshaped the Rebels into one of the nation's top offensive units and broke the school records for total offense yards. He also helped the Rebels qualify for the New Year’s Six bowl games twice.
