DC 2023 Head Coach
Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting is the head coach of the Delhi Capitals Team for IPL 2023. Ponting has been the head of the DC coaching staff since 2018. The team finished third in 2019, second in 2020 and even topped the league stage in 2021 with Ponting as the head coach.
During his active days, Ponting played for the Mumbai Indians and the Kolkata Knight Riders Team in the IPL. He even had a brief coaching stint with the Mumbai-based franchise. Delhi Capitals have been quite successful in the IPL after Ponting joined as the head coach.
DC 2023 Batting Coach
The Delhi Capitals have not named a batting coach yet for IPL 2023. Interestingly, there was no DC coach for batting last year as well. Ricky Ponting might step up to guide the Delhi batsmen in this department.
Also, former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson is the Assistant Coach for the upcoming IPL and he would most likely be seen handling the batting alongside Ponting . The Australian all-rounder previously played for RR, CSK and RCB in his IPL career.
DC 2023 Bowling Coach
Former Delhi Capitals captain James Hopes is the DC coach 2023 for fast bowling. Hopes played 84 ODIs and 12 T20Is for the Australian cricket team. He played for PBKS, PWI and DC in his IPL career, scoring 417 runs and picking up 14 wickets in 21 matches.
Apart from Hopes, the coaching staff also has Ajit Agarkar and Pravin Amre as the assistant coaches. Agarkar is a former Indian fast bowler who has 288 ODI wickets to his name, the third-highest by an Indian. He played for KKR and DC in IPL, whereas former Indian leg-spinner Amre represented the Indian team in 11 Tests and 37 ODIs.

DC 2023 Fielding Coach
The Delhi Capitals will have Biju George as their Fielding Coach in IPL 2023. Having tons of international coaching experience in the form of working with the Indian women’s team, Kuwait National Team, KKR for two seasons and SRH, George would bring in a lot of knowledge and skill onto the table for the Capitals.
