Lightfall is the eighth installment in a nine-part tale Bungie has been working on since the release of Destiny 2. In this addition, you can pick the new Strand power, similar to "poison" in RPG terminology but also features a grappling hook function to aid with traversal, which will be extremely useful in Neptune city Neomuna.
Does Destiny 2 Lightfall have different enemies?
As part of the Destiny 2 Lightfall campaign and additional activities, you'll be pitted against Callus' ruthless Shadow Legion, a new Cabal force bolstered by the Witness' power and Pyramid technology. They have a unique appearance and suppression gadgets that reduce your Super charge and capabilities. We've also seen the Vex arrive near Neomuna, so they'll also play a part.
Crucially, brand new Tormentor opponents will be joining the conflict on Neomuna. These boss-like Pyramid adversaries are enormous and have various ranged and close-up attacks employing a massive scythe, making it a challenging task to battle them. It also appears that they have some type of deadly grab strike that is ideal for killing Guardians.
