There are a few digital editions that you can purchase with each one offering differing in-game content and a physical edition that comes with official collectibles for the game. Here we will take an in-depth look at each edition of Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
Shadow of the Erdtree
This contains the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC which you can gain access to if you already own the base version of Elden Ring.
Shadow of the Erdtree Edition
This edition of the game includes the base version of Elden Ring and the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. You can also get access to the “Bonus Gesture" if you decide to pre-order this edition of the game. This version of Shadow of the Erdtree is available to buy in both physical and digital editions for all platforms.
Shadow of the Erdtree Deluxe Edition
This edition includes the base game and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion along with a few extra digital goodies. You will gain access to the official Elden Ring digital art book, the original soundtrack for the main game, the official Shadow of the Erdtree digital art book, and the original soundtrack for the expansion. You can also get access to the Bonus Gesture if you pre-order this edition of the game.
Shadow of the Erdtree Premium Edition
This edition of the game doesn't come with the base game, instead, it includes the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion and a few extra digital goodies. With the expansion, you will also get access to the official Shadow of the Erdtree digital art book and the original soundtrack for the expansion. This edition also comes with the Bonus Gesture if you decide to pre-order.
Collector’s Edition
This is the physical edition of the game which doesn't include the base game but comes with a variety of other things including the code for the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Aside from the DLC you also get a download voucher for the original soundtrack for the expansion, a physical art book with key boss characters from the DLC, and a 46 cm tall statue of “Messmer the Impaler”.
