Hamlet is a jock hamster villager in the Animal Crossing franchise. His name is derived from Shakespeare’s Hamlet and first appeared in New Leaf. While he is not central to the game, is one of the most beloved characters who loves bodybuilding and sports, perhaps the only character in the game to do so.

Behavior of Hamlet

He has a jock personality and loves bodybuilding and sports. Jock villagers come across as feisty and cocky and will compete with the players in every possible task including catching bugs and fish.

Hamlet is pretty hyperactive and doesn’t hesitate from commenting on other villagers' physiques. He gets along with peppy and smug villagers. In New Horizons, he goes to sleep at 12:30 AM and wakes up at 6:30 AM.

Hamlet has yellow fur and half-closed tired-looking black eyes. He has a brown nose, rounded ears and the inside of his ears is blue.

We can find him wearing a star shirt and is one of the shortest villagers in the game.

Hamlet’s house has a playroom theme, and he also owns several items from the Stripe series.

He owns a gyroid, the Mega Drilloid, and a star globe. He also owns the Stripe Table, the Stripe Closet, and the Stripe Bed.

He also has a stereo that plays his favorite KK Slider song: Reggae.

His house again has a playroom theme. However, he owns Wooden Block crafted pieces and sleeps on a race car bed.

Hamlet’s house has a puzzle flooring in New Horizons and in the current title, he owns a Wooden Block Stereo which plays his favorite songs.

Amiibo Cards

One of the major functions of the Amiibo Cards in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is to invite villagers to visit your islands. The players, however, will need to construct the campground on the island for the villagers to visit. The players can convince the villagers to stay on their islands for a while and with some special characters, they can also convince them to become permanent members.

To use these Amiibo cards, the players need to head to Resident Services once the Townhall is unlocked.

The players will be able to spot an ATM-like machine that will allow them to use their cards.
