Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is unquestionably the most eagerly awaited of the upcoming PS5 games and is scheduled for release in 2023. For the sequel, Insomniac has set a high standard, especially after the success of Spider-Man and Miles Morales. Even though there is still much to learn about the eagerly anticipated Marvel's Spider-Man sequel, Insomniac has already shared a lot of information with the public. What is Spider-Man 2’s plot?

He is a Russian big game hunter who frequently preys on Spider-Man in the comics, but in Spider-Man 2, he has traveled to New York with his cabal of hunters in search of a match, and doesn't mind destroying half the city.

In addition, in the post-credits scene for Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it was revealed that Harry Osborn had been freed from his stasis tank at Norman’s demands which could see him play a part in the game. This is due to the fact that, at the moment, neither Peter nor his allies have any idea of the things that Norman had done to Harry, implying that the consequences will likely be covered in the new title.

Spider-Man 2’s gameplay

While demonstrating a brand-new wingsuit for Miles and a Venom-infused suit for Peter, Marvel's Spider-Man 2's gameplay also confirmed that players would be able to switch between the two. The trailer also featured some of Kraven's henchmen, Peter's ability to use rope lines, and a number of Symbiote-infused abilities. What platforms will Spider-Man 2 be released for?

The Spider-Man 2 video game from Insomniac will only be available on the PlayStation 5. This may come as a surprise after the Miles Morales game was released on both PlayStation and PC. Although it hasn't been confirmed, it's possible that gamers will eventually see Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PC. Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales are already available on PC thanks to Sony's recent expansion of its first-party PC game releases.

When will Spider-Man 2 be released?

Despite having kept the public in the dark for more than a year, Insomniac revealed in October 2022 that the game is still on track for release in 2023 for the PlayStation 5. The PlayStation Showcase 2023 provided additional confirmation, with both PlayStation and Insomniac announcing that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be released in the fall of 2023.
