The first of the four major golf tournaments that took place in 2023 was the Masters Tournament, which was played in its 87th edition. The competition was held in Augusta, Georgia, USA, from April 6–9 at the Augusta National Golf Club.
Who won Masters 2023?
Jon Rahm beat Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson by four shots at 12-under par after shooting a final-round three-under-par 69 to win the Masters and become the fourth Spaniard to do so. At the beginning of the final round, Koepka, who is going for his fifth major title, had a two-shot lead, but he shot 75 (+3) and fell to second.
After starting the final round 10 shots off the lead, Mickelson, 52, shot a seven-under-par round of 65 to move up into a tie for second and become the oldest player in Masters history to place in the top five.

Séamus Power finished his round with two consecutive aces, becoming just the fourth player in the competition's history to complete two holes-in-one in the same calendar year. In addition to Scottie Scheffler, Bubba Watson also hit a hole-in-one.
