The GTA 6 leaks from September 2022 provided the very first (unofficial) look at the upcoming Rockstar Games title. Although no leaks of that nature have occurred since, more alleged information has been put out recently on social media.
This comes from GameRoll, a prominent member of the Grand Theft Auto community, who has made some interesting claims about the title's features on a Discord server.
GameRoll's source for this information is anonymous, but they did correctly reveal Jason and Lucia's full names a few weeks before the second trailer dropped, which makes these claims worth checking out. With that said, here are five key takeaways from the recent GTA 6 leak.
Note: This article discusses leaks and rumors. Readers are advised to take the information with a grain of salt.
5 story chapters and four other key takeaways from the recent GTA 6 leak
1) Weapons in the trunk
The September 2022 GTA 6 leaks suggested that players might have a limited weapon carrying capacity, akin to Red Dead Redemption 2. GameRoll's recent claims suggest that this feature is still in, and that the weapons would be stored in a trunk (likely referring to a car trunk).
Notably, one of the short clips on Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto 6 web page briefly shows Lucia equipping a pistol from a car trunk. This might be a teaser for this alleged mechanic.
2) No panhandle
A panhandle was added to the northwest side of the GTA 6 mapping project, a fan-led initiative to find out Leondia's layout, last year, suggesting that the upcoming title's map could have even more landmass than speculated before.
That being said, GameRoll claims to have been told that there won't be a panhandle. This does reduce the area of the speculated map, but whatever is left still appears to be much bigger than GTA 5's map based on the mapping community's estimates.
Its accuracy, however, remains to be seen until the official map is revealed.

3) 5 story chapters
It seems that the story mode chapters system from Red Dead Redemption 2 might be returning in Grand Theft Auto 6. The former title had eight chapters, but as per GameRoll's recent "GTA 6 leak", the latter could only have five.
Exactly how long each of these chapters could be, though, is another question in itself. Rockstar Games hasn't revealed anything along these lines so far, but notable details about some of the characters, including the GTA 6 protagonists, are available on the official website.
4) Character selection wheel options

Grand Theft Auto 5 introduced multiple protagonists to the series, allowing players to switch between them via a character selection wheel. This could be returning in GTA 6, as we have multiple protagonists again.
GameRoll has claimed that the sequel's character selection wheel will have three options, one each for Jason and Lucia separately, and one for both at the same time. Since the protagonists are in a relationship, this alleged option might act as a means for them to hang out, but it will be interesting to see how exactly this works, if true, that is.

5) Malls and stores

Grand Theft Auto fans want to see lots of enterable buildings in Grand Theft Auto 6, and GameRoll has claimed something very optimistic in that regard. The leaker has alleged that there are hundreds of stores, as well as enterable malls.
They also stated that some skyscrapers could have elevators. If these claims turn out to be true, it would certainly help a lot with immersion and the virtual world of Leonida feeling alive.
