Floyd Schofield, also known by his ring name of "Kid Austin," is an emerging undefeated lightweight boxer from America. Schofield was born on August 27, 2002, in New Jersey City but had to relocate to Austin, Texas, where his ring name is taken from. Schofield stands five feet seven inches tall and fights with an orthodox stance. As of February 17, 2025, he holds a record of 18 wins and no losses.

Turning professional on October 9, 2020, Schofield impressed in his first outing by knocking out Richard Esquibel in the opening round. His dynamic performances caught the attention of Golden Boy Promotions, leading to a co-promotional deal in August 2022. Since then, Schofield has showcased his talent on major fight cards, including being featured in the undercard of Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia. In his last fight on November 2, 2024, Schofield beat Rene Tellez Girón at The Theater at Virgin Hotels, Las Vegas. Despite being knocked down in round 11, he defeated him by unanimous decision on cards of 118-109, 116-111, and 118-109. Looking ahead, Schofield will meet Shakur Stevenson on February 22, 2025, for the WBC Lightweight World Championship at Riyadh's Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia.
