Belal Muhammad is one of the leading professional mixed martial artists competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The 36-year-old Palestinian-American professional mixed martial artist made his professional debut in 2012. It took him more than a couple of years to show up at the UFC and join the promotions in 2016.

Belal Muhammad locked horns with Alan Jouban at UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Alvarez on July 7, 2016. Jouban handed Muhammad a unanimous decision defeat on his promotional debut. However, he made a remarkable comeback in the later fights of his career in the UFC and went on to pile up a long winning streak in which he outclassed fighters like Stephen Thompson, Vicente Luque, Sean Brady, and Gilbert Burns.

Belal Muhammad is set to receive his first chance to fight for a title in the UFC. He is scheduled to headline the UFC 304: Edwards vs. Usman 2 along with Leon Edwards. Edwards will put his welterweight title on the line against Belal in the bout. In their earlier meeting at UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Muhammad on March 13, 2021, Belal Muhammad was accidentally poked in the eye by Edwards due to which Muhammad couldn’t continue and the match was ruled a no-contest.
