The 36-year-old Palestinian-American professional mixed martial artist made his professional debut in 2012. It took him more than a couple of years to show up at the UFC and join the promotions in 2016.

Belal Muhammad locked horns with Alan Jouban at UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Alvarez on July 7, 2016. Jouban handed Muhammad a unanimous decision defeat on his promotional debut. However, he made a remarkable comeback in the later fights of his career in the UFC and went on to pile up a long winning streak in which he outclassed fighters like Stephen Thompson, Vicente Luque, Sean Brady, Gilbert Burns, and Leon Edwards.
