Shavkat Rakhmonov is a professional mixed martial artist from Kazakhstan. He is a former M-1 Global Welterweight Champion and currently competes in the Welterweight division of the UFC. As of January 9th, 2023, he is ranked No.10 in the UFC welterweight division.
Rakhmonov was scheduled to fight Geoff Neal at UFC Fight Night: Imavov vs. Gastelum on January 14, 2023, but the bout was canceled as Neal pulled out from the fight due to an undisclosed injury.
Later, ESPN reported that the fight has been rescheduled for UFC 285 in Las Vegas on March 4, 2023.
