Micah Parsons is not impressed with President Joe Biden, despite him finally being able to secure the release of WNBA star Brittney Griner. Griner had been in a Russian prison for nearly three years before Biden successfully initiated a prisoner swap to bring her back to the United States.

Parsons took to Twitter upon the announcement that the basketball star was headed back to the states, letting President Biden know that this move still wasn't enough to convince the Dallas Cowboys star to vote for him.

Parsons was also disappointed in the fact that the prisoner swap, aimed at bringing Griner home, reportedly did not include a former United States marine who was also in Russian prison.

The swap was simply one for one and only Griner is headed back to the United States, a fact that evidently displeases the NFL Defensive Player of the Year candidate.

The star pass rusher has never been shy about voicing his opinions and that hasn't changed with the release of Griner.

He doesn't seem unhappy that she is being released, just that it doesn't include the former Marine and that he's still not happy with the President's overall body of work.

The President will have about two years to convince Micah Parsons that he has done enough to warrant a vote from the NFL star.

Micah Parsons Defensive Player of the Year chances

Right now, after a dominant start to this season, Micah Parsons is the odds-on favorite to win the award. He began as one of the favorites, but has separated himself from the pack.

Per Sports Betting Dime, these are the odds behind him, with the Dallas star being -450:

  • Nick Bosa, +250
  • Chris Jones, +2500
  • Matthew Judon, +4000
  • Maxx Crosby, +5000
  • Jeffery Simmons, +9000

Put simply, there is very little competition for the pass rusher/linebacker hybrid. As long as he can continue playing well, it looks like he is going to come away with the prestigious award he narrowly missed out on during his rookie season.
