A.J. McCarron led the St. Louis Battlehawks to a 20-18 win in Week 2 of the XFL, against the Seattle Sea Dragons at Lumen Field. McCarron rushed for a touchdown as well in the come-from-behind victory.
After seeing McCarron score the rushing touchdown, Mina Kimes couldn't hold herself back from comparing the play to Jalen Hurts' and the Philadelphia Eagles' near-unstoppable play in the NFL.

The St. Louis Battlehawks trailed with less than two minutes remaining after Ben DiNucci gave the Dragons the lead with a touchdown pass. McCarron led a comeback drive that resulted in the game-winning field goal, and the Battlehawks are now 2-0 to start the season, with their quarterback shpwing some great form.
In Week 1, McCaron put on a display against the San Antonio Brahmas, leading an unlikely comeback win that surprised many. For the time being, the former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback is enjoying his time with the Battlehawks in the XFL.

McCarron and the St. Louis Battlehawks will face the DC Defenders next week, hoping to win their third game in a row. Having defeated the Seattle Sea Dragons on their home ground at Lumen Field will undoubtedly provide the Battlehawks a mental boost and will aid them in maintaining their form throughout the season.
The St Louis Battlehawks QB is making plays with both his arms and feet. He has looked unstoppable at times, and if he continues to dominate as he has done so far, his team's ceiling will be winning this year's XFL.
Three more games are scheduled for this week, with the DC Defenders facing the Vegas Vipers on Saturday night and the San Antonio Brahmas facing the Orlando Guardians on Sunday. The Arlington Renegades will round out Week 2 against the Houston Roughnecks.
Although the game between the St. Louis Battlehawks and the Seattle Sea Dragons resulted in a low-scoring affair, the rest of the games this week could turn out to be shootouts as quality-level football is being displayed by the XFL players.
