Easily one of the most popular athletes in the world, Tom Brady is no stranger to the occasional mean tweet. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star boasts seven Super Bowl wins and has earned his place as an NFL legend. Sometimes, though, trolls can get a little personal about a player and their personal life.

Of course, some mean tweets can be fun for celebrities and athletes to read. During a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Tom Brady ended up reading a few mean tweets sent to him.

The star quarterback laughed at a few tweets poking fun at him, while he called out some for being too brutal. One particular tweet was about his dog, where an unknown user hoped for Brady's pet to get sick. The tweet read:

"F**k you Tom Brady I hope your dog eats chocolate and gets really sick and throws up on your socks."

Brady's response was more or less expected:

"That's f**ked up".

Other than this, most of the tweets were about Brady, his game, or his appearance. Brady's annoying reaction is totally valid if someone calls out his family or pets.

Another tweet read:

"Hi. I'm tom brady and I am a cry baby and I have a b**thole in my chin!"

The 45-year-old just smirked, while pointing to his chin in confusion.

Did Tom Brady avoid a mean tweet about Gisele Bundchen?

In another segment, Brady was shown a tweet that mentioned his now ex-wife Gisele Bundchen and their personal relations. As Brady might not have wanted to discuss his private life on television or social media, he dodged the tweet and his reaction completely.

The tweet read:

"Fu** you Tom Brady I hope this loss depresses you so bad that you can hardly have sex with your supermodel wife in your giant mansion," the tweet read.

Brady's response was limited:

"I have no comment to that."

The episode was filmed long before Brady and Bundchen separated. The former couple reportedly started having some problems earlier this year before finalizing their divorce.

The Bucs star is trying to move on from Bundchen, who is also known to be focusing on her career post divorce. While on his 'Let's Go' podcast, Brady spoke about changes in his life, which also included spending the holidays away from Gisele and his children. Brady said:

"A lot of them are very personal that I really don't care to share, I really don't... We all have physical, mental, emotional aspects to us that are challenged," Brady said. "Some years you are challenged a little more physically and you gotta overcome adversities physically."

Brady is currently focused on the playoffs, which could be another chance for TB12 to advance in the season.
