To start the second week of the XFL season this year, the Seattle Sea Dragons and the St. Louis Battlehawks squared off at Lumen Field. The game was ultimately settled by a walk-off field goal despite the fact that it got off to a very slow start.

The Battlehawks ended up winning the game 20-18 after they found themselves trailing with less than two minutes to go after Ben DiNucci gave the lead to the Dragons through a touchdown pass.

AJ McCarron, the quarterback of the Battlehawks, led a comeback drive that ultimately set up the game-winning field goal. McCarron has produced clutch performances for his team for the past two weeks in a row, and as a result, the team from St. Louis is now 2-0 to start the season.

McCarron, a two-time National Championship champion with Alabama and a former member of the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL, is clearly enjoying his time in the XFL.

It was undoubtedly an impressive victory for the Battlehawks, but the Seattle Sea Dragons have now lost two close games in a row and will be extremely gutted.

However, his team's defense was unable to prevent the Battlehawks from scoring the game-winning field goal, and their supporters were forced to watch them lose in the same stadium that they share with the Seattle Seahawks.

Next up for the Dragons will be the Vegas Vipers in Week 3 where they will hope to win their first game of the season. As for the Battlehawks, they'll be up against the San Antonio Bahamas.

Three more games will be played this week as the DC Defenders will face the Vegas Vipers on Saturday night while the San Antonio Brahmas will go against the Orlando Guardians on Sunday. To cap off Week 2, the Arlington Renegades will face the Houston Roughnecks.
