Appearance of Xerneas

Xerneas is a quadrupedal Pokemon that most resembles a deer. Its most striking feature is its antlers, which can shine like a prism in several different colors. Its color palette is mostly black and blue, with yellow marking across its legs and chest.

Appearance of Xerneas

Behavior of Xerneas

Xerneas is a representation of life itself, living mostly in the forests and having the ability of eternal life. When its antlers glow, it’s said that it is sharing its gift of eternal life with others. However this comes at a cost: if Xerneas expends too much of its energy, it retreats and transforms into a tree for one thousand years.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Xerneas has the unique situation of finding itself as the only Legendary Pokemon that’s a Fairy type. With that as the case, its high stats and Fairy moves make it an excellent contender against FIghting, Dark, and Dragon types. Even with excellent defense stats, be wary of Poison and Steel moves, as they can seriously pack a punch against Xerneas.

Shiny Xerneas

Finding a shiny Xerneas is a feat in itself, as finding a normal Xerneas is hard enough already. Shiny Xernas’ palette seems to be swapped, as its legs are now white and its body is light blue. One thing to note about Shiny Xerneas is that it’s missing its colored antlers, a dealbreaker for some shiny collectors.
