Cameron Brink, born on December 31, 2001 in Princeton, New Jersey, is an American college basketball player. After starting her basketball journey in high school, Brink played for Southridge High School in Oregon for three seasons. Her exceptional skills earned her a college basketball career, where she has achieved several awards and accolades.


Beyond her college achievements, Cameron Brink has represented the United States internationally. She has won two gold medals with the national team at youth events. Notably, she led the 3x3 team to victory at the 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup, earning the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.

Making her college debut on November 25, 2020, Cameron Brink in her freshman year averaged 9.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks per game. She was selected to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team and received All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. She also set a program single-season record with 88 blocks.


In her sophomore year in 2021-22, Brink continued to improve her skills, averaging 13.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game. She set a new program single-season record with 91 blocks and was named a third-team All-American by the Associated Press and United States Basketball Writers Association. She also made the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-America team.


During her junior season, Brink received the WBCA Defensive Player of the Year award as the top defensive player in the nation. She earned second-team All-American honors from the AP and the USBWA while being named a WBCA All-American for the second time. She ranked third among Division I players in blocks per game and broke her own single-season program record with 118 blocks.


In her senior season, Brink's performance led to her being selected as the Pac-12 Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year by the league's coaches and media. She made her third All-Pac-12 team and conference All-Defensive team. On March 12, 2024, Brink declared for the 2024 WNBA draft.


Cameron Brink National Team Career

Cameron Brink has represented the United States in international competitions on multiple occasions, as of April 2024. She first represented the United States at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Cup held in Belarus. During the tournament, Brink averaged 3.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while helping her team secure the gold medal.


Brink continued her international success by winning another gold medal at the 2019 FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Thailand. In this competition, she averaged 2.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.


Furthermore,she played for the United States national 3x3 team at the 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Austria. She played a crucial role in helping her team secure the gold medal and was named the tournament MVP.
