Drew McIntyre (original name: Andrew McLean Galloway IV) is one of the most popular wrestlers of the RAW brand in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), as of 2024. Notable by the nickname “The Scottish Psychopath”, he hails from Ayr, Scotland, United Kingdom, and is in his second stint with the company.

McIntyre started his pro wrestling career in the United Kingdom. He mainly wrestled for notable indie promotions like British Championship Wrestling (BCW), Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), WCPW Wrestling, and Evolve among others. He first debuted in WWE on October 12, 2007, during an episode of Smackdown and defeated Brett Major (Matt Cardona) thus revealing himself as a heel. However, his first stint in WWE ended without much fanfare and he left the company in 2014. He was notable for wrestling as “Drew Galloway” in TNA and becoming the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Since rejoining WWE in 2017, he has found great success as a wrestler.

He has been the NXT Champion, Raw Tag Team Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion, WWE Intercontinental Champion, Men’s Royal Rumble Winner in 2020, and two-time WWE Champion so far. Drew McIntyre is great at being both a babyface and a heel and has become a fan favorite. His signature moves Claymore and Glasgow Kiss are highly effective in ending the opponent in the ring.
